How to change the zip code:
Just log in and visit "Account Settings" via the pull-down menu with your name at the top of the page. Set the State pull-down menu to the first line so no state is shown, (Set your zip code and press submit button at the bottom and go back to the homepage. Your zip code will now stick until you change it.
